We are a couple with two daughters and a garage full of pickleball equipment.  A team of people help to make the business work.  We are located in Kent, Washington, a suburb of Seattle.
We’re proud to offer the widest selection of pickleball equipment anywhere, you name it, we got it! Paddles and balls, of course, but we also have books, DVDs, jewelry, bags, nets, clothing, silly pickle stuff and a passion for pickleball.
Our daily goal is to serve our customers the way we want to be served. That means we pay personal attention to each order and strive to exceed customer expectations.

why we do it
We started PickleballCentral.com in September 2006 as a hobby website. After three years, the sport of pickleball was booming and our little side business had grown into a full-time enterprise serving thousands of customers.
It’s a fun business to be in. Pickleball players love pickleball and PickleballCentral.com because they love the products, the customer service and the prices. We love pickleball and people who play pickleball. We love the phone calls and emails we receive from the pickleball community.  It’s a great community and joy to serve.

  1. My wife Allie and I started playing pickleball nearly two years ago at the Gig Harbor, WA YMCA to afford us alternate exercise on rained-out tennis days. Slowly, we started playing pickleball on dry, but cool days, and then we started playing pickleball on perfect tennis weather days. We still enjoy tennis, but now we love pickleball. I am a retired college English teacher of 42 years, and Allie is a retired high school English teacher of 30+ years. All of our lives we worked hard and long to support our family and to prepare responsibly for our retirement. Now, we are taking great pain and diligence to play and play and play. And pickleball is a key component in our daily lives. We have made so many friends from so many professions and of all ages. The pickleballers are competitive. We all love to play our very best and to win. But we also laugh and encourage and enjoy each other’s company. For example, the best all around player at the Y, Don, gives free practices once a week, conducting drills and dispensing strategy and individual advice. I know of no other sport where this kind of generosity and pure passion for the game is in evidence. Allie and I are kids again and plan to play this terrific sport into our 80’s and 90’s, if the fates are willing.
